Javier was invited by HRH The Prince of Spain to speak at his IMPULSA Forum in Girona, Spain.

Javier visiting a school run by NGO My India Empowered. This school later collapsed due to heavy monsoons. Javier then founded Innovation Foundry, a collaboration between teams around the world to solve one problem. Innovation Foundry's first problem was to reconstruct this schoolhouse.

Javier and his brother, Fabian, won first place at the 2012 Conrad Spirit of Innovation competition. They are inventors of H2O, a patent pending retro-fit bicycle wheel which desalinates water.

Javier guiding students through his SPICE program. This program is part of the Success 101 class taken by CWHS sophomore students during the 2012-13 academic semester. This program promotes creativity, design, and social impact through a variety of in-class activities and real-world problem solving.

Javier was featured in the documentary "Seven Days Across America – What is Right About American Youth".
